JRS: Protection interrupted – The Dublin Regulation’s Impact on Asylum Seekers‘ Protection

The national report presents the results of the research conducted in Malta. The first part of the report outlines the law and practice relating to the implementation of the Dublin Regulation at national level by outlining and examining the procedurethrough which migrants are transferred to and fromother EU Member States, in terms of the Regulation. The second partof the report outlines the experience of migrants, who had, at one point or another, been subject to the terms of the Regulation. The report then analyses the data findings and contains recommendations for improved practices andprocedures with proper guarantees of protection, at national level.
